Thank goodness fate brought us together!  Brian and I moved full time to South Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii in July of 2019 and Laura and Ken moved here in November of 2019.  Our neighbor hosted a woman’s get together and we bonded at first because of our bamboo houses.  We bought an existing bamboo house and Laura and Ken were planning to build one.  Bamboo Living has an excellent website to explain what a bamboo house is; once you learn about it, you’ll understand why it is so important to us.  It provides for sustainable living and just has a “cool” factor that lends itself to a tiki themed lifestyle.  

 

The more Laura and I talked, the more we realized how much we had in common.  Besides our husbands having awesome wives, we both love photography, cooking, baking and we are both self-proclaimed mixologists from way back!  So, this site is a collaboration of our ideas. We are lucky to have such great, supportive husbands and often mention to each other how blessed we feel and how we are living our dreams!
