Coconut Scrub

Coconut oil can be used for so many things so I always have some around!! This scrub is awesome especially after a long day in the garden or art studio. It’s super simple to make and is a great gift item.

Ingredients

• 2 cups Epsom salt

• 1/4 cup coconut oil

• Pretty jar or 1/2 a coconut shell

Instructions

Put Epsom salt in medium size bowl. Add coconut oil and mix thoroughly. The consistency you are looking for is just enough oil for the Epsom salt to adhere to itself but not too much that it becomes liquidity. Add either more Epsom salt or more coconut oil to get right consistency. I make big bowls of the scrub around the Holidays for gifts.

Caution – although the oil absorbs nicely into your skin it is for your hands only. I tried it once on my feet, which was awesome….just not in the shower and then try to take a step. True story.
